Students from Wuzhou College are being interviewed for the selection of volunteers to serve 7th Wuzhou International Jewel Festival.

Wuzhou, Oct. 11(Wuzhou Daily)---According to the organizing committee of 7th Wuzhou International Jewel Festival, there are 1740 people who have been enrolled for the selection of volunteers to serve the event, more than any of the past ones and for some positions there are even 8 competing to get the job. 90% of the enrollees are students from universities and colleges and the rest consist of young people who are specialized in foreign languages.
As known the organizing committee will pick 500 out of the 1740 candidates to be the volunteers who are going to provide the service ranging from reception, ritual service, interpretation& translation, exposition, conference administration, security checking, etc., during the festival. All the people selected will be arranged to receive the operational training for their jobs from October 18th, 2010, on.
